My Collected Writings on history, science fiction, philosophy, and women.
An interview between myself and Danny de Gracia. Excerpt follows: ͼ-Ѻ-ͽ The last few months have revived memories of Cold War nuclear tensions, first with Russian bombers spectacularly challenging our ADIZ in Guam and now with the brinkmanship going on between the divided Koreas. For a perspective on nuclear tension, political leadership in times of crisis (or lack thereof) and Armageddon scenarios, I took the time to connect with the author of the post-apocalyptic thriller As I Walk These Broken Roads Davis M.J. Aurini. In Aurini’s book, a future nuclear war gouges out human civilization and leaves survivors in an...
There are some pretty bold claims made by myself and others in the alt-right, but they’re not without data and theoretical backing. This is a long video, but I tried to keep it as intellectually-dense as possible. Generational cycle theory points out that we’re in a crisis, whose resolution will arrive sometime around the mid 2020’s, and there are several factors which show how unsustainable this whole thing is. As I pointed out last time, this is kind of a big deal. Usually they spend weeks choosing a new Pope – this decision came from an overnight vote from the Cardinals. On top of that, he’s chosen an unprecedented name “Francis I,” which is odd. Argentina is a primarily European country, and they’ve been through some harsh economic times due to socialism; this could potentially result in a good pope. But he’s also a Jesuit… those guys worry me. I’m not ready to make any conclusions yet, so I’ll leave you with “How to survive an Economic Apocalypse –...
Named after Professor Thomas Schelling, 2005 Nobel Prize recipient, a Schelling point is “that which gives a group of like-minded individuals their common purpose.” Groups with strong Schelling points are able to “coordinate their actions with minimal communication.” Less Wrong’s Explanation Here in the Mandrosphere Game is the Schelling point – Roosh’s forum and Roissy’s blog in particular. Men want to get laid, after all, and modern culture makes this difficult by masculinizing women, femininizing men. But that’s not all they’re focused on; once they tire of that you have the whole alt-right schlew of politics, economics, survivalism, history, et...
ͼ-Ѻ-ͽ The Interrogation of the Good By Brecht Step forward: we hear That you are a good man. You cannot be bought, but the lightning Which strikes the house, also Cannot be bought. You hold to what you said. But what did you say? You are honest, you say your opinion. Which opinion? You are brave. Against whom? You are wise. For whom? You do not consider your personal advantages. Whose advantages do you consider then? You are a good friend. Are you also a good friend of the good people? Hear us then: we know. You are our enemy....

The team over at Extra Credits – normally a series about video game design and narrative construction – decided to go in a different route, and examine the question of whether alien life exists through the prism of “Should we be funding X-Com?” If you haven’t made a habit out of reading 10,000 word treatises on the subject, you should find it quite interesting – and even if you have, you might pick up a thing or two from it. ͼ-Ѻ-ͽ And now your moment of Zen: Pickup your own Glorious Hat today! ͼ-Ѻ-ͽ My novel My Twitter
Even babies enjoy apocalyptic fiction! Bill over at Apocalypse Cometh writes his review: …This isn’t faint praise because as someone who reads nearly four to five books a week, half of them fiction, because there’s only so much truth one man can take, what Davis has written here is something that I can’t praise enough. Let me put it to you this way, I was so engrossed in his narrative that I spent most of last week re-reading it to the detriment of my own posts on this site. Frost, over at Freedom Twenty-Five: If he couldn’t throw together a decent book,...
This is a post about how liberalism and tolerance ruin everything. It’s also a post about a webcomic titled The Order of the Stick, so I’ll need to take a moment to describe it to you. OotS is a masterful work by Richard Burlew, set in a universe governed by the laws of Dungeons & Dragons. The comic’s not only hilarious, but it’s full of high drama, as well. Burlew manages to take the cartoony nature of the good/evil alignment system and create complex, deep characters out of it, villains with understandable motivations. The comic can go very dark at...
