I’ve recently decided to undertake an in-depth study of Carl Von Clausewitz’s book On War; one of Western Civilization’s greatest works of strategy. I find that the best way to aid my study has always been to write down notes as I read; those notes are what follows. The 10 Principles of Leadership

Leadership: it’s one of the cornerstones of masculinity. It isn’t human resource management, or manipulation.  It isn’t team-building exercises where everyone gets a trophy.  It isn’t being a boss, demanding that your minions perform.  True leadership is the upward pull, creating distinction and achievement.  It is the core nature of hierarchy, understood and embraced by every member, no matter where they are on the totem pole.  It is the divine spark that builds civilization. Let me just start by saying that I am loosely of the opinion that the Upstart Rebel Government in the United States – as well its puppet clone here in Canada – are Terrfic Abominations of good social order (let alone good governance), and they fully deserve to implode under the weight of their civil services, and their marxist legislating.  To put it simply: I have no love of Democracy.
